MWEEEEEEEE!!!!! I finnished it!!!!!! I'm totally exhausted! I've spent way too many hours on this picture and there are still little details that I'm frustrated over, but all in all I'm happy with the final product!

This is Dan as Harry Potter in the fourth film 'The Goblet of Fire'. I saw the very first showing of the film midnight of the 17/18th at the Seattle Cinerama (I was about second in line!!! 6 hours of waiting in the freezing cold baby!). I honestly was frustrated with the movie the first time I saw it. I love the book so much that I didn't know what to think of the movie because of the changes that were made due to the short length of the film. I saw it again last night (at the Cinerama, of course!) and LOVED it. I knew what to expect this time and so was able to appreciate it as a movie. The first time I was so focused and upset by the changes that were made I really couldn't concentrate and enjoy the film. I tend to be too much of a purest at times (not that I believe that it's fine for hollywood to botch a book, but I tend to sometimes have unrealistic expectations), so if something isn't exactly like I want it to be I get all uptight and dissappointed. I sometimes have to see something twice before I can decide whether or not the producers did justice to the book or not (though there are some movies that are so off, that it makes you wonder whether or not the ones who made the film actually read the book or not!). Eventhough I think that the length of the 4th movie should have been much longer than it was to allow for a more accurate interpretation of the book, I do LOVE the movie and I think that it probably is the best of the 'Potter' films so far! I can't wait to see it again! So if you're a purest like me, please see the film more than just one time; you'll be stunned at how much you enjoy it the second time 'round!
